The testo 552 digital vacuum gauge is a highly accurate, extremely robust instrument with all the important measuring functions for the evacuation of refrigeration systems and heat pumps.
Thanks to Bluetooth communication, the testo 552 connects to the testo Smart Probes app on your smartphone or tablet in order to conveniently monitor the absolute pressure reached during vacuum generation. Furthermore, measurement results can be quickly documented in the app and sent by email.
Applications of the testo 552 vacuum gauge during operation
Evacuation is one of the most important work steps in the commissioning or maintenance of refrigeration and air conditioning systems. External gases, moisture and oils must be reliably removed and this requires the absolute pressure of the system to be measured.
This is precisely what the testo 552 digital vacuum gauge does: it provides highly accurate information on the dehumidification status of the installation and reliably measures even the smallest absolute pressures. With it, you will be able to precisely comply with the manufacturer's evacuation data and when the limit values are exceeded, a visual alarm will be activated immediately.
Moisture and dirt cannot fight the testo 552, as it is not only particularly robust, but also water-repellent and dirt-repellent in accordance with protection class IP42.
Applications
Complying with manufacturer's specifications
Some manufacturers specify exactly what the absolute pressure must be for you to evacuate your air conditioning systems how long this pressure must be maintained. Compliance with these specifications is simple and easy thanks to the flexible setting of the alarm threshold in the testo 552.
Documenting measurements
Via a Bluetooth interface, the testo 552 connects with the testo Smart Probes App on your smartphone or tablet. This allows you to monitor the absolute pressure reached during the evacuation conveniently and wirelessly. In addition to this, the measurement results can be quickly documented in the App and sent by e-mail.
When you use the testo 552 in combination with the testo 570 digital manifold, you can save the testo 552's measuring values or display them directly on a laptop via the optional EasyKool software.
Ensuring dehumidification
The testo 552 not only measures the pressure, but also gives the water evaporation temperature associated with it. In addition, it measures the ambient temperature and displays the temperature difference. This means you can quickly check whether the humidity in the system is evaporating and dehumidification is progressing properly.
