Hochiki SDP-3. Mounting box for Hochiki detectors in ducts with 0.6 m pipe. allows a range of addressable, conventional or addressable photoelectric smoke detection devices to be installed on the outside of an air duct in order to control air within the duct. Sdp-3.

Description

The SDP-3 is a Duct Probe housing allowing a standard photoelectric smoke detection device, either a conventional detector or an analogue sensor, to be mounted on the outside of an air duct for the purpose of monitoring the air within the duct. For installations where possible condensation could arise an optional cover is available (SDP-3 COVER).

Using an aspirating technique, the air within the duct is drawn via a pipe into the duct probe’s housing. This allows constant sampling with a standard, LPCB approved smoke detector, which makes smoke detection within the duct simple, effective and easy to maintain.
