The FOC-SS fiber optic knife will score and split the fiber leaving a 2.0 mm to 20.0 mm mirror face finish of the fiber coating.

Features

  • Designed to section the fiber in applications where terminals of the fiber connectors can be included and
    mechanical dividers, both in the field and in laboratories

  • It has a scale scale, which allows to divide lengths from 2 to 20 mm.
  • The form of "Annotate and Adjust" using the function with spring is done in a very easy, fast and is the preferred method by most fiber installers.
  • In the final stage, it generates a very precise section with less than 2 degrees of difference
  • It comes with a carbon blade, which allows to execute more than 6,000 precise cuts
  • This sectioning tool is designed so that without any adjustment, it works in Uni-mode and Multi-mode fibers, with coatings with DE of 125 microns
  • The sectioning tool and its operating instructions are included in a heavy-duty plastic box weighing 2.12 ounces (60 gr) measuring 5.38 x 3.38 x 1.13 inches (137 x 86 x 29 mm).
